For the past two days, I have been writing a small story. It isn’t done yet, but here is Part 1!
Pumpkin jumped up on the hay bales, the highest point he could get to on the farm. The young cat waited for the sun to go down slowly. Scuffling came from behind Pumpkin on the haybales. “Dawn I know it’s you.” Pumpkin’s voice rang out. A ginger-gold kit scrambled up behind him.
“Hai!!” Dawn sqeaked. Pumpkin rolled his eyes and playfully tapped his little sister on the shoulder. “How do you even get up here?” Pumpkin asked, as he could still barely get up and he was bigger and older.
Dawn squeaked happily at the question. “ I climbeded up!” She said, flexing her claws in the setting sun’s light. Pumpkin smiled, shaking his head. His ginger fur glistened in the sunlight. The sun it had almost finished setting, the darkness creeping in. Pumpkin stood up, leaning over to pick up Dawn.
“Time for bed!” Pumpkin said through a muffled maw. Dawn started to squirm, but said nothing. He jumped down with great effort. He padded into the hole in the barn, as only the humans could open the big doors. He placed her down on a big pile of hay.
By the time Dawn was asleep, it was dark and the sea of stars glittered above Pumpkin as he scrambled up on the haybales again. He sighed to himself and turned on his back, his paws facing towards the sky. When he looked up at the sky it reminded him of his mother and father. When Dawn was born their father, Redthorn had died trying to save the chickens from a fox.
At least we have never seen a fox on this farm since. Pumpkin thought to himself. A few months after, Wildfire their mother had disappeared after going hunting. She had disappeared, no place looked like their had been a fight, just some damp grass that had been rolled in after it had rained lightly.
He shook his head trying to get the memories out of his head. Then he remembered something. They always used to talk about clans. Like StarClan or ShadowClan or something like that. Pumpkin’s eyes started to close. He stepped lightly into his nest, careful not to wake Dawn.

That is Pumpkin. I made him in a game called Warrior Cats Ultimate Edition. (Or WCUE)
This is Dawn. Someone gave it to me in WCUE. Its very hard to see but it is in kit size. (The smallest size). Nobody would help me get a photo of them next to each other so this will have to do for now….
